Pesto Chicken Florentine Dish!!!

Aside from flavor, colors and textures play a big part in these dishes I'm making. I love colorful dishes that are enticing because we all eat with our eyes first, right? In addition, when it comes to textures, I like the dishes that incorporate a combination of creamy, crunchy, soft, hard, thick, thin, etc. But all this lies at the hand of whatever ingredients I have to work with.
This Pesto Chicken Florentine successfully achieves the culinary trifecta of flavor,(“flavors” in seasoning foods Salt, Fat and Sugar) beside that the color and texture of the pasta too. The pesto Alfredo sauce that coats the dish is full of flavor, yet is balanced enough to not overpower the dish. The colors of the red and the green pop up against the golden hue of the pasta. Lastly, the creamy sauce, juicy tomatoes, and al dente pasta are a myriad of textures that work in harmony.

Pesto Chicken Florentine:
1 (8 ounce) package dry campanili or penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cut into strips
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
1 cup grape tomatoes, each cut in half
2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or jarred)
2 tablespoons pesto
1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Insructions:
So easy to do it;!
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and transfer pasta back to the pot and set aside. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic, sauté for one minute; then add the chicken, season to taste and cook for 7 to 8 minutes on each side. When chicken is close to being cooked through (no longer pink inside), add spinach and grape tomatoes and sauté all together for 3 to 4 minutes. Add chicken/spinach/tomato mixture to pasta, and then stir in pesto and Alfredo sauce. Mix well, top with cheese and serve.

Pasta dishes like this is quick to make, making it a perfect meal for weeknights yet elegant enough to serve to guests on weekend dinner parties. It couldn't be easier to put together either. Chicken is seasoned and sautéed with fresh baby spinach and split grape tomatoes before tossing with al dente pasta. To bind it all together and give it a nice punch of flavor, a mixture of Alfredo and pesto sauces is used. You can use either homemade or store bought Alfredo sauce and/or pesto sauce…. although homemade is always better if possible. I’ve found this dish tastes even better the next day as leftovers since flavors had a chance to really develop. So given that, you can certainly make this a day ahead

The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is located at 350 Fifth Avenue (between 33rd and 34th Streets) in New York City. There are several numbers to describe the height of the Empire State Building. The total height of the building, including the lightning rod, is 1,454 feet. The height of the building from the ground to its tip is usually given as 1,250 feet. The measurement from the ground to the 102nd floor observatory is 1,224 feet and from the ground to the 86th floor observatory is 1,050 feet. The building was actually completed ahead of schedule, taking only one year and 45 days to build. The building itself cost $24,718,000 to build (nearly half the expected cost because of the Great Depression). Including the property on which the building sits, the total cost for the Empire State Building was $40,948,900. There are 1,860 from street level to 102nd floor. There are 6,500 windows. What a lot to clean!.
Ever since it was built, the Empire State Building has captured the attention of young and old alike: every year, millions of tourists flock to the Empire State Building to get a glimpse from its 86th and 102nd floor observatories; the image of the Empire State Building has appeared in hundreds of ads and movies (who can forget King Kong's climb to the top or the romantic meeting in An Affair to Remember and Sleepless in Seattle?) ; not to mention the countless toys, models, postcards, ashtrays, thimbles, etc. that bare the image if not the shape of the towering, Art Deco building.
When the Eiffel Tower (984 feet) was built in 1889 in Paris it, in a way, taunted American architects to build something taller. By the early twentieth century, a skyscraper race was on. By 1909 the Metropolitan Life Tower rose 700 feet (50 stories), quickly followed by the Woolworth Building in 1913 at 792 feet (57 stories), and soon surpassed by the Bank of Manhattan Building in 1929 at 927 feet 71 stories.
I  have this information to inform more than the Empire State Building. I think the Empire State Building has become famous in the decades of its founding and creation. always have a place in the hearts of all Americans, and most of all New Yorkers. current structure was modified and re-built the new investment fund companies and state. The Empire State Building will always be visited by millions of tourists from around the world ... is a new Landmarks of New York and therefore will always be admired for all these years since it was created.

what it means the subject of the song "New York, New York"

Composers Kander and Ebb had stated about Liza Minnelli that they attribute the song's success to actor Rober de Niro, who rejected their original theme for the film because he thought it was too weak. The song did not become a popular hit until it was picked up in concert by Frank Sinatra during his performances at Radio City Music Hall in October 1978. Subsequently, Sinatra recorded it in 1979 for his 1980 Trilogy set, and it became one of his signature songs.
In 1979, it was recorded by Frank Sinatra, for his album Triology; Past Present Present, (1980), and has since become closely associated with him. He occasionally performed it live with Minnelli as a duet. Sinatra recorded it a second time in duet with Tony Bennett for his 1993 album duets.
The song has been embraced as a celebration of New York City, and is often heard at New York-area social events, such as weddings and bar mitzvahs. Many sports teams in the New York area have played this song in their arenas/stadiums, but the New York Yankees are the most prominent example. It has been played over the loudspeakers at both the original and current Yankees Stadiums at the end of every Yankee home game. Sinatra's version is played after a Yankees win, and the Minnelli version after a loss. Matter of fact it has been though tha this rule was later changed due to complaints from fans and the Sinatra version is now heard after a win or a loss.lol.

I started a new life here, interact with many ethnic groups like Americans born and raised here.

One of My Favorites Italian Restuarant In New York City!!

How good it is :)
when I first came to this restuarant for a dinner celebrating New Years Eve with some friends years ago The food was spectacular in taste Italian, apart from the services and comfort of the place offered. And since then did not think much in this place back. I decided to go back after many years and I realized that this restuarant is still one of my favorites. I checked the services and amenities they offer is still much better apart from the delicious Italian food is still delicious and added more in the menu. Great!!. The owners are two Magnificent and very friendly person, a legitimate Italiano of their country, and they are very friendly and true every time I call for reservation, I always get the best spot of the restuarant. They so freaking cool people..
Meanwhile, the food was crazy.!!! Although the entrees are not huge; you might end up ordering 1 or 2 order extra..... It did not matter much to me. I ordered a lot of great appetizers and the small entree worked out for me. My favorite is the portobella mushrooms.  Anyway, the way they sauteed the mushrooms in butter is so savory that the flavor and texture is soft and tender, it sort of like melts in your mouth. Aside from that, the baked clams and artichokes are also my favorite also. What i like about this place is that the pasta are very tender and freshing. I can tell fresh pasta from boxed pasta. The marinara sauce is also very fresh and organic- made from scratch  I always order wine to go with the meals also.
The bill is also not damaging either, the priceCheck out their prices. the price may change depending on what you order, but do not want to ruin you're going to pay what you ate, jajajajaj ....The few times that I went, either I made a reservation or that i was able to beat the crowd. One time I went with a party of 10 which was my families celebrarting one of my sibling birthday and we made it just on time for the last seating on a Friday night at around 8pm. The restaurant started to turn down incoming groups one by one. We saw what was happening and felt so relieved. But at the same time, we sort of felt reassured that this was one happening joint!
Lastly, the dessert cart is really fun! They pull out a selection of real sample desserts for you to choose from, which is so ridiculously irresistable from canolli to sweet pies, banana pudding and tiramisu, so delicious...
I personally, recomend to you guys, an I hope that you guys like it.!!!!!!

buon appetito..
